With both teams gearing up for the playoffs, Richmond and Virginia (Charlottesville) squared-off at Seven Pines hoping to make the final tune-ups necessary for a National Title in Division 2 and Division 3 Mens Club, respectively.

The Lions came out flat and quickly found themselves down by 15 points. Although, they did not play their best, Richmond found a way to regroup and fight back for a 31-23 win.

Flanker Andrew Petta was awarded the Man of the Match for the A squad. The B-side honors was split between Will Souder and Toby Bryant.

Following the match was a very entertaining local college rivalry showdown between Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) and University of Richmond. VCU pulled off a very narrow victory.
