Despite going undefeated throughout the tournament, the Lions had to settle for the Plate as ECU edged them out in the pool by point differential after a dramatic tie.

The Lions pool turned out to be a lethal one as ECU continued on to repeat as Monk Vaughan Champions and William & Mary captured the Bowl.
